All employees are covered under workers' compensation for on the job injury or illness. The Martin County School District uses a network of treatment centers for employees to access medical care when injured on the job.

Employees are required to report on the job injuries within 24 hours to their supervisor in accordance to the Workers' Compensation Procedures.

The District workers' compensation administrator is Employer's Mutual Inc. and they can be reached by calling 1-800-431-2221.
