Coverage is provided by The Standard Life Insurance Company.

All employees regularly scheduled to work a minimum of 20 hours a week are eligible for a school-district paid term life insurance policy. The policy has an accidental death & dismemberment rider for active employees. The schedule of benefits is:

Instructional and Non-Instructional Employees: $35,000
Administrators: Two times salary or $75,000 maximum

Coverage reduces as noted below:

* Includes Plant Operators, Confidential Secretaries, Food Service Managers and Extended Day Managers.

Life insurance beneficiary designations can be made at any time and updated at any time.  We strongly encourage you to keep your beneficiaries current in order to be consistent with any life changes you may experience.  The changes can be made online at https://sbmc.myebconline.com.  Online designations can be printed to keep for your records.  Paper forms are also available at that same website.
