   Risk Management and Employee Benefits EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (EAP) & MENTAL HEALTH BENEFITS
 

CIGNA Behavioral Health now provides the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Mental Health/Substance Abuse portion of your health care benefits. The EAP is available to all active employees and eligible dependents (not retirees). The mental health/substance abuse benefits are only available to those covered by one of the Martin County School District health plan options (includes retirees).

The EAP offers access to licensed mental health professionals through a confidential program that is protected by State and Federal Laws.

The EAP allows for up to five confidential short-term therapy sessions at no cost to you. 
The EAP offers assistance for a wide variety of personal and work-related issues such as:
Parenting & Child Care
Aging and Eldercare
Critical Incident stress debriefing
Marriage Counseling
Mental health assessment & counseling
Employee Wellness
